Family and private bungalows at Spicy Villa Eco-Lodges are built with natural, sustainable, and locally sourced materials the way local hill tribe communities build their own homes. Materials used to build our bungalows are locally sourced wood, bamboo, and leaves.

We are located in beautiful green countryside of Mae Win, about two hour drive from Chiang Mai city. Our bungalows overlook rice paddies and small elephant camp and we have an organic farm on our premises to grow fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices for traditional Thai dishes.

Nightly rates for family and private bungalows include breakfast and we can also prepare delicious lunches and dinners consisting of several traditional Thai dishes. Price for each meal is 7 USD, and you can add meals to your booking during the booking process.

During the booking process you can also order transportation to Spicy Villa. Price for a round trip starts at 60 USD.

The Spicy Villa is such a special place. Peaceful, breathtakingly beautiful, and inspiring. What Samart is doing here is pretty cool – nice to be able to stay somewhere where you feel like your money is going to good use.

Spicy Villa was the highlight of our visit to Thailand which also included much fancier digs. We are a family of four with 6 and 11 year old boys who cannot stop talking about the experiences they had at Spicy Villa or our wonderful guide Banditio.
